Election Day is right around the corner, and the need for Christians to be bold and clear has never been more essential. What should we believe, think, and do as followers of Christ?
See the following document, specially put together to help us think clearly and biblically about how the Christian is to approach the government.
In short: God created authorities and ordained how they should function — government, church, and family are the three primary spheres of authority. Each sphere has its own God-given boundaries and is to be obeyed within those bounds, but such authority is not unlimited and unqualified; when an authority goes beyond its legitimate limits, it no longer has the same moral force of command.
